love_sacrificedI've officially deleted my icons from Photobucket. Aside from one folder with iconbattle images, I've deleted all folders/images. And that last folder will go as soon as I downloaded those images (for reference purposes for myself) and then I'll delete my entire Photobucket account.
I've uploaded several fandoms already to nickpic.host and I'll keep going through them. I'm not uploading all of my old icons. Some just aren't up to par. I'll keep them on my hard drive to remember how far I've come, but I won't reupload them.
Moving to a new site also has the advantage of being able to rethink my folder structure. So far I've kept the folders private unless you've got a link - and added the link to my icon masterlist, but as I figure out the site more I'm coming to realise that it might be easier to just make them all public.

Edit: Although since I'm now maintainer of DW20in20 I may need the updated set if it's newer than 2011 especially since it won't let me copy the last sign up into a new text document.

So at least it's one stop shopping for all my emails. ^^ I sometimes want a more professional sounding email than dani_meows or bipolardanicats but they'd be so boring for using for fandom stuff and I wouldn't want someone to trace it back and figure out my real name. Hence why my name is Danielle Rose and not my actual last name.

I remember hearing all those stories of "met on the internet" that ended badly (even if it was pertaining to dating) and some rather bad threats within fandom that it's most certainly a good idea to keep them separate. And then there's keeping my rl away from my more questionable stories :D
